The Conservative Vision for America: A Dire Warning for Women and Minoritized Communities

Pink thin like vector

I have dedicated the past two and a half years to understanding the evolving political landscape in our country, with a particular focus on its impact on women's reproductive health. My commitment to this effort involved extensive reading, viewing, and listening to historical accounts, thought leaders from both past and present, recent Supreme Court rulings, and current political plans. After this in-depth self-study, I have arrived at the following conclusions. I share them with you to provide what I believe to be important information and context as you navigate the upcoming US elections.

The conservative reactionary movement is constructing a future that, among other goals , aims to eliminate the non-white professional class, revert white women to traditional homemaker roles, force LGBTQ+ individuals, particularly transgender individuals, back into hiding.

Although they have not explicitly detailed their methods, it is conceivable that any approach they adopt will be, at a minimum, cruel. They also do not specify the timeline for these actions. However, it is evident that they have started to lay the legal, political, and cultural groundwork necessary to establish a white Christian nationalist country.

I write all of this not to convince anyone to make a different decision as they vote next November, but to illustrate that to support the current Republican Party is to directly aide this future in becoming a reality.. I hope that if you are going to take that step, you really think hard about whether there is a place for you in this new America . I know there will be no place for me and my family.
